Carrie grew up in North Dakota but has called Wisconsin home since 1999, when she came to Madison to study at the University of Wisconsin. Carrie graduated with degrees in economics and international studies. She later received her law degree from Marquette University Law School, where she earned Marquette’s first Regional Champion title in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition and first top-sixteen ranking at the competition’s National Championship. After graduating from law school, Carrie started her legal career as a judicial clerk for Judge Timothy Dugan in the civil division of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. She joined Clifford & Raihala in June 2011, after two years with the Court.
Carrie is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys running, camping and spending time with friends and family. She has completed nine marathons, raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the process. Carrie has qualified twice for the Boston Marathon and she ran in and completed the race in 2004.
